Company was started in 1960, back then it was named “Metallist” and specialized in metal machining.
Plant went under the command of Ministry of Gas industry of USSR in 1966 and was renamed as Novogrudok Gas Equipment plant. It specialized in manufacturing gas tanks for home use and associated equipment. In 1978 plant starts serial production of gas burners and gas taps. Later on it started manufacturing fire extinguishers, safety equipment for water heaters working on gas.
Gas equipment for converting cars to run on LPG was developed and sent into manufacturing in 1989. This equipment became main specialization for the company and was used as a base for later modifications for both LPG and CNG.
